He ain't no leader.
There'd been a time he'd known that down to his bones. Back then he'd been happy helpin' the village, workin' to feed his family and taking care of everyone. Barret Wallace had been a hard worker, a loving husband, a good man... but not a leader, never that.
Back then, he hadn't cared. It wasn't 'til now, on the deck of that ship, that the words were hard to say. He'd stepped up 'cuz he'd had to, and he'd lied to himself for years. But in the end, he figures, you've gotta be who you are.
