I've shipped them for ages and it's always been so lonely, lol. Last time I played the game through I kept both of them in my party almost constantly so I could see their interactions. Which is, of course, how I noticed Lucca sleeping with her head in Robo's lap when the camera faded back in from Frog's lengthy flashback about Cyrus. Which I promptly screenshotted and iconned for posterity.
