I tend to be easy to please on these things! The only really strong preference I have in terms of things I'd prefer there to be is that I'd really prefer there to be consent between the characters in this. Other than that, as long as the characters are behaving in a way that's consistent with the things they do and say in canon, I'm happy!
SO2: Rena/Precis in College
Ah, fandom of my heart. So I basically want to see these two a couple of years older and going to college somewhere. Canon gives us Linga University on Expel, and that would be fine; if you want to put them on a more advanced planet somehow (did they hitch a ride with Claude, Opera or Ernest?) and have them simultaneously dealing with this new technology and their studies and each other, that's fine too. Basically any college-based trope would be fine here as long as it has Rena and Precis together, being awesome at college. (What would they study? Where do they eventually fit in? How good are they at studying?) I love the way that they start off being a bit prickly with each other, and the way that Precis teases Rena constantly, only for them to become the very best (girl)friends in the end (not that it stops Precis from teasing!) So have fun with it.
Art-wise, really, anything about these two in college is still fine - are they sneaking around after hours in one of the halls, maybe with special non-lethal weaponry? (I can see Precis being into Nerf fights, or even "introducing" them to Expel...) Taking a late-night study break? Or just hanging out in their room?
FFVII: Tifa/Jessie in AVALANCHE
This is a couple I hardly ever see written, possibly because we see so little of Jessie. But Tifa must've known her for a while before the game began, so why not play off of that? Show me something that happened pre-game, before Cloud re-entered the picture (or maybe an AU where he never did?) Show me Tifa and Jessie on a mission together, being competent and awesome with their respective skills. Show me the two of them celebrating after a difficult job, or maybe comforting each other after a particularly difficult night. Art or fic of any of those possibilities, or whatever else you can think of involving the two of them, is fine!
I'd really prefer for Cloud to mostly stay out of the picture, here - no "Tifa cries over Cloud and Jessie comforts her," please. I'm fine with hurt/comfort, but not so specifically that. Tifa had a life in Midgar before he showed up and became the center of it, so show me that.
(As far as the compilation goes, I'm familiar with the original game and with AC. At some point I'll probably play CC, but I'm not sure about the others. Don't worry too much about spoiling me, but also know that if you throw in a lot of intricate details from CC or BC or whatever at this point, I'm not going to be able to follow you. Sorry!)
VP:L: Aelia/Celia(/Lenneth?), Happy reunion
I love this game so much. So many awesome female characters. Anyway, one of the saddest bits of metaplot in this entire game is the story of Celia and her friends, and how Celia at the end is the only one left alive and alone, when virtually everyone around her was killed and taken by Lenneth. I just want to see her happy again, somehow. And I imagine that Aelia would want to see her happy again as well, so please, give me a story about Aelia finding Celia and somehow turning things around for her again. Post-game is fine; something AU before the game would've ended is fine. (Celia as an Einherjar, maybe?) Lenneth doesn't have to be directly involved, although I did include her in the prompt, I think - it's up to you how much involvement she has in the fic, and frankly I'd be perfectly happy with Aelia/Celia, the two warriors helping each other find some peace, because Aelia hasn't exactly had the easiest life either (gem of ancient power implanted in her body, and possibly slowly turning into a dragon before her death... the game isn't clear. Feel free to play with that.)
So that's what I really want, fic or art - something where Aelia and Celia are together, and Celia is happy again. (For art it can be cute pre-game stuff too, if that's easier. Maybe something involving Aelia trying to talk Celia into drinking something stronger than she's used to?)
