I'm doing this for Star Wars: The Old Republic specifically this month, because why not. I may not finish it within the month, but I might keep going if I don't.
The first question is short so I will use the cut tag to list the rest of the questions. They're on my journal elsewhere, but I don't want to have to search for them every day.

1.How did you get into this fandom?
I first played the game in 2013; I only really knew about it because I remembered some comic talking about Bioware planning to create a Star Wars MMO, and I'd enjoyed a lot of their other games, so I decided to look into it. I didn't get involved in the fandom that much back then, just enjoyed the game with my boyfriend and played through some of the story. After my computer at the time auto-updated itself to Windows 10, though, it wouldn't run the game worth beans, so I just stopped playing it for several years.
I believe I picked it up again in 2017? Maybe 2018. I was definitely back in college again, and my boyfriend mentioned he wanted to play an MMO again and suggested it. (We'd been playing a few other games before then. Neverwinter, for one, which I remember enjoying.) He didn't stick with it; I eventually stumbled into a guild, then started RPing in-game and on Discord, and eventually (probably 2019 or so) started looking for fanworks about it on various sites, mainly tumblr.
That's about it. Easy one for today.
