Day 2
In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you did not create. Drop a link to your post in the comments. See if you can rec fanworks that are less likely to be praised: tiny fandoms, rare pairings, fanworks other than stories, lesser known kinks or tropes. Find fanworks that have few to no comments, or creators new to a particular fandom and maybe aren't well known or appreciated. Appreciate them. Comment here with your list!
Unfortunately, there are a lot of things I would've recced here once upon a time that no longer exist on the internet. But here are some things I've found!
1. Some fanart:
- Kashell and Celia by Maiji (VP:L, Worksafe) Doesn't really require any canon knowledge to appreciate. I just really love her art, and the style of this one particularly appeals to me, and this one's a tiny fandom that not a lot of people really go out and look for. Lots of reasons to rec this. (And check out the rest of her gallery too, because her art is beautiful.)
- Locke and Terra 6 by Spoonybards. I just love this piece so much. So much backstory in a single image, and the colors are amazing. I want to see a story about this picture so much, a story about these two together, and possibly escaping from it.
2. Two Crystalis music remixes: Calming The Angry Seas by Ryan8Bit and House Leaves by Neostorm. Both of these have been favorite songs of mine for a long time, for completely different reasons.
3. Two gaming fandom (mostly fanwork exchange) communities here on DW that are consistently active and keep putting out great stuff:
