FFVI - thoughts on Locke

Locke really doesn't do a good job of protecting anyone, does he? Not in the game, or in the backstory for the game, at any rate. (I'm not bashing him. I like Locke. This is more of an exploration of his various issues.)

ME: Trying to replay (again)

I mentioned on my tumblr (where the image is from) that I was replaying the ME series. I finally have the full trilogy on my PC; now let's just hope that my computer can run ME3. (The specs say yes. I'm skeptical.)

This is more or less a full replay of my first and (IMO) most interesting Shepard, Natasha, a Vanguard and disgruntled war hero who is currently struggling with a lot of internalized xenophobia and anger. Growing up in a military family can be bad for your childhood (although not always. It was mostly her father, really.) She's the one I'm writing about - slowly - in this series. I probably won't write much more until I've played ME3, though.
