Well, let's start this.
I think I posted the "defining" fanworks last time. This time... hmm.
Oh, what the heck. These are my favorites that are not safe for work, mostly for sexual content. So obviously, if you're sensitive to sexual content, you won't wanna read this.
(Fandoms: Bioshock, FFIX, FFIV, Neil Gaiman - American Gods, Homestuck)

1. Narcosis (1721 words) by Wallwalker
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: BioShock
Rating: Explicit
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Andrew Ryan, Augustus Sinclair, Other(s)
Summary: Secretive underground clubs are opening in Rapture, clubs that promise every bizarre pleasure imaginable, and for only a small price.
I particularly enjoyed writing this one. I remember the creative process for it, which mostly involved me saying, "Let's use every kink I can think of for this wildcard space, yay!" Also, I liked Sinclair and his moral ambiguity, and considering that he was apparently responsible for much of the vice trade in Rapture (according to various deleted journals, at least) I didn't think that Narcosis Clubs would be that much of a stretch.
This is one of the ones I'd love to continue someday, if only I can figure out exactly which angle to use.
2. Improvisation (2316 words) by Wallwalker
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Final Fantasy IX
Rating: Explicit
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Freya Crescent/Zidane Tribal
Characters: Freya Crescent, Zidane Tribal
Summary: Freya might not care for Treno much, but she does enjoy their bath houses.
Okay, so this one was just smut for the sake of smut. And boy, was it fun to write, to just ignore the issue of it not really being canon-compliant and go with it.
3. Adrift (2752 words) by Wallwalker
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Final Fantasy IV
Rating: Explicit
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Kain Highwind/Valvalis
Characters: Rubicante (Final Fantasy IV), Valvalis (Final Fantasy IV), Golbez, Kain Highwind
Summary: Defeat gives one of the four Fiends a chance to reflect on what she never had.
One of my earliest attempts at writing anything even vaguely smutty. It shows that it was an early attempt - the prose is more purplish than I would do now, I think. But I liked it at the time, and still like it now.
4. Sane (1447 words) by Wallwalker
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Neil Gaiman - American Gods
Rating: Explicit
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Low-Key Lyesmith/Shadow Moon
Characters: Shadow Moon, Low-Key Lyesmith
Summary: Some things only made sense on the inside.
Another older one (not quite as old) that I enjoyed writing - one of my first attempts at m/m, and a bit... strange. I remember doing some research on prison life but I'm sure that I didn't do enough. ^^; Still thought it was a good piece on what it was doing to Shadow, though.
5. Nobody But Me (4769 words) by Wallwalker
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Homestuck
Rating: Explicit
Warning: Underage (not in-universe - both characters are appx. 16-ish in this, adjusting for alien timeframes. So... not even out of universe, necessarily? Do I even need this tag?)
Relationships: Eridan Ampora/Nepeta Leijon
Characters: Nepeta Leijon, Eridan Ampora
Summary: Kismeses make better nurses than most humans might expect. It doesn't do to let your rival get killed, at least not by someone who isn't you.
Fairly recent, another one where I write about a crazy rarepair without really setting up their relationship. Mostly I was trying to write something typical of Homestuck's caliginous (aka hatebased) romance that's still recognizable as such, but in a less violent and even sort of caretaking way. I think it worked pretty well.
Day 1
In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
