- I'm narrating this from the point of view of someone who's never played this game before (represented by a baby hippo puppet we've named Kira - yes, we collect plushes) and it's been interesting so far. Although really, so far she's mostly been despairing about working for lawbreakers, and commenting on how Tifa keeps calming down her "maybe-boyfriend" Barret and wondering why she needs Cloud's help when she and Barret seem like they're pretty badass and probably work out together in the secret room at the bar. Oh, and wondering how Cloud's sword does more damage than Barret's gun.
- You know the usual truism that says, if you see a one-way passage, you should probably explore everything in the area you're in thoroughly before you leave? It doesn't apply in the Sector 5 Reactor mission in this game. I wasted about twenty minutes (live, no less) running down a long corridor only to realize that there are guards down there and I had to turn back. :p At least I got some levels.
- It's neat to look at the graphics while I'm playing. Not just for the nostalgia issue, either - it's really neat to me how smooth the polygon characters look, in terms of their animation, while the backgrounds are so pixellated. It's an interesting contrast.
- I really need to figure out the sound levels. You can't hear the narration at all.
