Day 2
In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your wish-list if you feel comfortable doing so. Maybe someone will grant a wish. Check out other people's posts. Maybe you will grant a wish. If any wishes are granted, we'd love it if you link them to this post.
#1:
(tl;dr: Can we make Multiamory March a big thing, please?)
Here's the biggest thing.
Two years ago (mostly on tumblr) someone kicked off Femslash February. I can't give you a community link because it's more of a tumblr tag in which people were encouraged to post f/f fic and art and meta. This was very popular and I'm mentioning it as background to what I actually want, because I expect it to be popular this year as well.
Here's my wish: Last year, someone else tried to kick off a similar tag for Multiamory March, which was supposed to be similar but dealt with poly relationships of any/all sorts. As you can see from the tag, it didn't gain nearly as much traction. And I would seriously love for it to really happen this year, for lots of people to post lots of things and make healthy polyfic/art/meta.
(No, it doesn't have to be on tumblr, that's just where people tried to start it the first time. If you want to do it on your DW/LJ or whatever and I don't already follow you, post a link to your site in my comments so that I can at least come check them out! I can't promise long, thought-out comments (especially to fandoms I know very little about, sadly) but I will at least check them out, and possibly post recommendation lists when time allows!)
I have no idea what to ask for beyond that.
#2: More art nouveau-styled fanart is always good.
#3: It sounds silly, but I discovered symmetrinas on a challenge community and it would be pretty cool if the form became more popular in fanworks. (Not that I've managed to write one yet either.)
(I made this multifandom for a reason, but if you did want to write something based on my interests, this journal's profile has a list of fandoms that I like, and the tag list gives a pretty good idea of more specific characters and relationships that I like.)
