The foolish humans were not the first organic lifeforms to step into a derelict Reaper. Far from it - there have been others, terrified by rumors of their own impending doom and seeking to find a way to stave it off by studying their destroyers' corpses. So many organic lifeforms have walked these halls, listening to their whispers and slowly going mad.
They were all fools. Their thoughts and lives are forfeit the moment they set foot inside of its walls. Their minds are so malleable. So weak. They no longer know who or what they are; they are nothing but extensions of their new masters, vessels for their dreams, willing parties to their own destruction. They worship their new gods and willingly throw themselves onto the spikes, transform themselves into what they would have called obscenity only a few weeks before.
How foolish they all were. Children should never play with dead things.
