Day 5

Stretch yourself a little and try something new. Go play in a new fandom or with a new pairing. Try working in a new medium. Or consume different fanworks. Give that new fandom a go. Listen to a podfic or watch some vids if you haven’t before. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it.

Finally checked out Burn Notice fandom a bit.

1. It's nice to see that my favorite character isn't ignored by the fandom, although I'm a bit surprised that there isn't more Virgil/Maddie fic out there.
2. On a similar note, someone else thought of Sam/Maddie, and that's cool, although I haven't seen anything yet that actually addresses the fact that Maddie was in a relationship with Virgil, and Sam, being fiercely loyal to his friends the way that he is, wouldn't do anything to hurt his buddy unless the relationship had been over for quite a while and he knew it. I'm rewatching the series on Netflix now to catch up, before watching S5, and I don't remember whether or not anything happened to the guy later in the series. But something would have to. (There are VERY few fics out there about Virgil, period. If I ever write anything for this series, I might have to change that.)
3. Most of the fic involves Sam, Fiona and Michael, unsurprisingly. In any and all combinations. Also unsurprisingly. Jesse gets some of the love, though.

That's really about it, so far. I haven't had time to read much. Mostly I've been looking for decent fic about Maddie, since she really is my favorite (especially S2 and onwards.) I'll read some of the other stuff later, though.
