Fandom Snowflake Challenge 2013, Day 6

Here we go - Two that have been relatively active, and one that I'd like to boost and revive a bit if we possibly can!



I probably recced these on a different day last year, but hey.

areyougame - A challenge for video game fandoms, where lots of prompts are gathered and then people choose them and write all the things. It's consistently active, generates a ton of great stuff (both prompts and fanworks.) I wish I had the time to be more active there, but it's still awesome that it exists and has so much great stuff!

newgameplus - Another VG fandom challenge, which has taken various formats since it was made. It's taken on several forms and such, and it's always run incredibly smoothly and has always created some incredible stuff.

sidequest - So this was made a while back by an online friend, and it's sort of been dead since then. But I want to bring it back, so. It's a prompt-meme style challenge (sort of modeled after anon memes, although anonymity is optional) that anyone can make a post for a specific game, and it's awesome, and I'd really like to see it get more love.

So yeah, all three of my recommendations are for video game fandoms, even though I have other fandoms these days. But those are generally the nearest and dearest to my heart, and so I keep trying to find other fans. ^^
