personalapocalypseI never posted about trope_bingo here. (Although I have at least an amnesty piece to write for KB, as well....)
I'm trying to figure out how to combine this with Femslash February (which is looking like it's going to be awesome. It started on Tumblr, but I'm probably going to be posting my stuff for it here too, since Tumblr's unreliable for me now that the new update is live. There's a DW comm where people are leaving prompts here and some of them are definitely going to have to be things that I try!) We'll see what I come up with.
There are quite a few things I could do here, although I haven't decided for sure what to do. Upper left to lower right looks promising for February, though!
Mind Control: Homestuck. Vriska/Kanaya, with Vriska learning finesse and practicing her abilities with subtle emotional/mental control on Kanaya in much the same way that their ancestors did.
Truth or Dare: Um. This one's hard, because I tend to associate it with kids, and I'm not good at writing kids. Rena/Precis (SO2) might work, since I can see Precis pestering Rena to play it with her until she finally gives in. I'll probably keep it fluffy; IMO this ship is best a bit fluffy.
Free Space: If I want darkfic, I could do that Benezia/Shepard mindmeld interrogation idea. If I want to try an AU, I might try street-weary-cop!Shepard and her growing relationship with a tattooed, talented and dangerous criminal lady named Jack. (I don't strictly have to use Mass Effect, but those are the first two that came to mind.)
Wingfic: FFVIII. First thing that comes to mind is a riff on Rinoa's angel wings. Quistis, being a curious Blue Mage, accidentally acquires something like them while studying them and finds out that they're a lot more complicated than just, well, white feathered wings.
Day At The Beach: Skies of Arcadia. Well, I could definitely write something about Aika and Fina frolicking at the water's edge somewhere on one of the islands, maybe in Ixa'taca. If I real wanted to get ambitious, I'll sketch them holding hands in bathing suits or something.
A few extras:
Mistletoe Kiss: Going with the spirit of the trope if not the exact text. Aeris and Tifa kissing underneath a sprig of a plant that apparently has a similar legend (although not the holiday implications, since there isn't a "holiday" season in FFVII) to the Cetra. A bit more somber than a mistletoe kiss would be, though.
