personalapocalypseI went through a lot of old LJ/IJ e-mails today, because I finally had the bright idea that I could find and recover at least some of the old works I lost when I lost my flash drive with my LJ backup. And I did recover a lot, including the Skies of Arcadia manifesto I wrote for Vyse/Aika/Fina that I wished I still had a backup of. I'll have to find new pictures for it, but that's okay! Expect to see some reposts of older stuff (as in, 5-7 year stuff) in the future; I'll try not to flood the comm too much, but I want them archived.
I also found this old meme, which I'm posting here for the lulz, because I don't even remember all of the answers! XD It was one of those "Describe some show/game/movie in brief and let people guess what they are" things.
1. Oh, well, life's all fun and games until somebody loses his hat.
2. Dear diary: My girlfriend wants a threesome and I HATE MY LIFE.
3. You were in South America in a past life? Hey, me too! Isn't that WILD!?
4. We're men, we're men in tights, we roam around the country lookin' for fights... well, okay, only one of us wears tights, but still!
5. Among our many weapons are sarcasm, ESP, androids, and ditzy Japanese schoolgirls!
6. Stone carvings will freakin' KILL YOU. You and your WHOLE PLANET.
7. It's okay, I'm a doctor. Now hold still while I beat you with this stick here.
8. Apparently having a sucky life is a prerequisite for having to fight a lot in the afterlife. Also, THEY'RE GIANTS DAMMIT!
9. Music hath charms to soothe the savage world-destroying mega-monstrosity, at least until we open fire on it.
10. So basically, real magicians commit suicide over and over? Ok, good to know.
These are the ones I kind of remember...
1. ??? (Someone guessed One Piece, and I do have vague memories of reading the manga. So maybe.)
2. The Quiet Earth, although I should've included SOME reference to the fact that they were the only three people left on the planet.
3. Nazca (the old anime series.)
4. ...Berserk?? Did Griffith wear tights? I don't remember.
5. Um. Was this back when I was watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya? Because... yeah, maybe.
6. FFVI, I think.
7. Not sure. House M.D, maybe.
8. Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. The last sentence was in reference to the writers calling the enemies of the Aesir "Vanir," when they were at least twice Lenneth's height and lived in Jotunheim, and their leader's name corresponded to a mythical fire giant. (Jotun = old Norse word for giant.)
9. This one HAD to be FFX.
10. ...um. Maybe The Prestige.
