Jenny's captivity wasn't the worst, as long as they didn't strap her down. It was a decent place to rest. She and Corbin had made enemies, and it was better that they think she was trapped in there.
But they let her exercise, as long as she didn't disturb others or try to hurt anyone. They wouldn't let her read everything she wanted, but it was enough to keep her mind sharp, and the few friends she'd made outside would slip things in from time to time. She kept on top of things.
Besides, she wasn't trapped. She was waiting.
