personalapocalypseDear creator: Hi! I'm so sorry this took about a week longer than I meant it to take. Everything ganged up on me at once and now I'm juggling doctors' appointments along with classes and weekend job and weekday job and... argh.
I almost deleted that, but I left it in to say that I'm having a tough time and whatever you write or draw for me would be awesome and make my day. I request a lot of rare pairings (or pairings whose time has passed, I suppose) and so when I request something, I'm really, really hoping that someone likes it too and picks it up. *heart* So please, don't worry! (Also if a writer enjoys writing something, it shows!)
Anyway.
General likes:
Complicated relationships. Relationships in the past that have changed with time and separation, sometimes for the better and sometimes not. People who care about each other trying to solve conflict (even if they don't always succeed.) Studies of dysfunctional relationships as dysfunctional. Happy endings for non-dysfunctional relationships, or at least happily-for-now endings. Stories about characters getting the catharsis that they need.
Squicks: Non-con, dub-con, character bashing, underage characters + sex.
Fic:
They don't have to be long. I promise. I love friends becoming lovers and conflict being resolved between people and pretty much everything I said above. Fics with smut in addition to plot are great, but don't feel obligated to do the smutty stuff.
Art:
I know, I ask for a lot of art. But I don't have time to do much myself, even if I was good at it! Also art would be easier to pick up in theory, I'd think, because it's easier to get caught up on a visual reference than it would be to research someone's entire plotline.
At any rate, I like all kinds of art. Any kind of historical style is great (impressionism, art nouveau, art deco, baroque, etc....) I love bright colors and autumn colors/settings if you want a suggestion. Alternate costumes are fun; feel free to dress them up in actual costumes if you can think of a good reason to do it. (Early Halloween?) I'd prefer to stay non-explicit with art, please.

Beatrix/Freya, Brahne/Beatrix, Garnet/Ruby

Beatrix/Freya is one of those complicated relationships that I'd like to see more about, since they have a lot of conflict and yet end up fighting side-by-side, and it all seems to be forgotten by the narrative after you rescue Garnet and escape Alexandria. Does Beatrix ever try to make amends for what she did to Burmecia and what she assisted with in Cleyra? Feel free to diverge from canon at some point if you want.
Beatrix is devoted to Brahne right up until she realizes what she's been doing to Garnet, and canon tells us that Brahne's change of heart was rather recent. What was their relationship like? I'd love to see something pre-canon about the two of them, or maybe something in memory of Brahne?
Garnet/Ruby just sounds like it would be cute, maybe in a Prince(ss) and the Pauper kind of way (Ruby's an actress, she could dress them both for the part.) Or anything about sharing their different upbringings - Ruby teaching Garnet how to act, Garnet showing Ruby how she learned to dance. Things like that.
Star Ocean 2:
Rena/Precis, Chisato/Opera
Fic or Art
Rena/Precis is so cute. I have a special weakness for the two of them in college settings (there's a university in-game in the town where Precis lives, and Rena expresses an interest in attending.) And they really do have a lot in common upbringing-wise - Rena and Precis were both treated differently when they were growing up, because of Rena's alien appearance and the rumors about Precis and her father. Maybe something playing off of that? (I'm not horribly fond of their canon ending, since it's all about Precis asking Rena to help her chase boys. Unless, of course, Precis is joking; I think that would be IC for her.)
I included Chisato/Opera mostly because their canon ending amused me (see link.) So something riffing off of that would be good. (Maybe Chisato had to go to one of the society balls after all? Maybe she's writing a news story.)

Marvel Cinematic Universe (+ AoS):
Natasha/Melinda, Jane/Darcy, Maria/Natasha, Bobbi/Jemma, Gamora/Nebula, Maria/Melinda
Art
MCU gives lots of potential for art about ladies being awesome and competent together! (Not everyone here is a fighter, but science is fun too.) I would love that, I really would.
Final Fantasy VI:
Daryl/Maria, Terra/Seraph
Art
Daryl/Maria is just fun. Settings in canon (Daryl taking Maria on the Falcon, or giving her flowers after a show) are good; so are AUs (Daryl as a bartender and Maria as a lounge singer, or Daryl running a con with Maria as the distraction.)
Feel free to go with religious pastiches with Terra/Seraph - maybe Seraph is helping her heal and soothe the children of Mobliz.
Final Fantasy VIII:
Quistis/Rinoa
Art
Sorceress-and-Knight portraits with these two would be great (deviating from canon or having them end up together after other relationships, either way.) Or something more light-hearted, like card games or dances or whatnot; after the fighting and supernatural stuff these two have gone through, they deserve to have some fun.
Final Fantasy X & X-2:
Lulu/Yuna, Belgemine/Magus Sisters
Art
Lulu and Yuna are really underappreciated as a relationship. Feel free to deviate from FFX-2 canon and have them end up together after FFX. Something with some of Lulu's dolls (esp. the adorable little Mog) would be really cute.
I really like Belgemine's design and I like the idea that the Magus Sisters were her aeons, maybe even her Final Aeon. Just about anything of those characters together would be great.
