Personal Apocalypse

Someone posted a screencap of Barret asking Cloud at the very start of the game if he wanted to see his "little baby." In context, it was almost certainly Tifa he was referring to. My first reaction was, "Really, translators? Really?"

My second response was this.

I wasn't going to do this this year, but what the heck.




Day 1:
Day 1: In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Another silly sketch of the same two characters (I have so many; some of them I don't want to post until I've edited them a bit more.) This one was fairly recent. It was mostly done for practice with digital painting on a limited pallet, and (for the most part) done without a sketch beneath it.
I really like how this turned out.

Day Twelve

In your own space, rec at least three fanworks that you think would make a good intro into XYZ fandom. Rec a fandom overview, a introductory picspam, stories that define and shape the fandom. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

If at all possible, try to pick a smaller or rarer fandom, one that maybe doesn't have the following you feel it should.

I've already done a lot of reccing for the smaller fandoms that I'm familiar with, or at least the ones that I know there are a lot of fanworks for. And I have a hard time choosing "defining" fanworks for any particular fandom, so I'm not really one to do stuff like that.

I could do relationships, though. So I'm bending the rules a bit.
Just two for now, but I may come back and do more. I'll probably post them separately.
